Area around NGC 2537
About this object
NGC 2537 unusual galaxy in the constellation Lynx. Its also known as ARP 6 and has a nickname of "The Bear Paw Galaxy". It has a peculiar horse show shape and is surrounded by a faint ring of stars. Just to the left of NGC 2537 is the mag 15.4 sprial galaxy NGC 2537A. Below is the needle looking galaxy called IC 2233. Many fainter galaxies to mag 17 sprinkle the field.
