Red Spider Nebula (NGC 6537)

The Red Spider Nebula (NGC 6537) lies near the heart of the Milky Way in the constellation Sagittarius. It is a planetary nebula which was created when the central star ejected its outer shell of gas. What remains near the center is one of the hottest dwarf stars known.
