About this object
Sharpness 2-115 is a faint emission nebula which lies within the Milky Way in the constellation Cygnus. It spans a pretty large field of view of several degrees. Faint nebulosity abounds within the area and planetary nebula called Sh2-116 lies within the nebulosity below and to the left of the brightest part of the nebula. The image is a composite using Ha, OIII and RGB filters. The imaging time was 500min of Ha, 540min of OIII, 260min of Red, 270min of Green and 290min of Blue for a total of 31hrs of exposure time. The image was processed with PixInsight.
